Spring Meeting 2010:
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know

Friday 14th May 2010

Park Inn, Mansfield Road, Nottingham.

Join us for the MWF Spring event next year in Nottingham for a meeting with an unusual theme!

Subjects to be discussed will include Anorexia, Psychological Aspects of Terrorism and the mental health of women who commit crimes.

Dame Hilda Rose Lecture will be given by Margaret Oates, OBE – On motherhood and mental health.

Winners of the Medical Student Essay Prize will present their essays.

ABSTRACTS
(maximum 250 words) are invited on a subject of interest to women doctors, related either to the theme of the conference, or to women’s health issues in general, or to women doctors’ careers, for presentation or a poster.

THE ELIZABETH GARRETT ANDERSON PRIZE
will be awarded to the best oral presentation

Council Meeting of the Medical Women's Federation on Saturday 15th May 2010 (open to all members)

Social Programme: Stay for Saturday afternoon and indulge in a bit of culture. We will be having a tour of the home of Lord Byron at Newstead Abbey, including a a salacious talk from a local expert about Byron's work and shockingly incestuous life. Not to be missed!

Dinner on Saturday evening at the Ginza Teppan-Yaki restaurant in Sherwood.

Delegates are required to find their own accommodation
