MWF
has formal and invited representation on a number of different national influential
committees and charitable organisations. Details of these formal roles are
given below, together with the key contact point. These individuals represent
MWF at national level, so do not hesitate to contact them if there are specific
points you would like to raise.
In
addition, MWF members are active in their own right in many other national
and regional bodies and organisations- for example, a substantial proportion
of women doctors on the General Medical Council are members of MWF, as are
many senior members of Royal Colleges and Faculties, and Postgraduate Deans.
Details can be seen in the annual membership directory. Any member of MWF
will be pleased to talk to any MWF colleagues about aspects of their work.
